Mesa State entered day two of the Oredigger Classic 2-0 after sweeping Friday’s opponents. Saturday morning the Mavs fell to #15-ranked Southwest Minnesota 3-0 (19-25, 20-25, 18-25).

Mesa State Mavericks swept Augustana (SD) and Minnesota-Moorhead in day one of the Colorado School of Mines Oredigger Classic in Golden, Colo. MSC defeated Augustana 25-17, 25-20, 25-21 Friday morning and followed up with a win over Minnesota-Moorhead 25-19, 25-19, 25-20 in the evening session.

Mesa State Volleyball held it 2009 Season Banquet in conjunction with an Alumni match on April 24, 2010.  The match went four sets and was very spirited and competitive.   “It was great to see our seniors back on the court with our alumni.  It was a lot of fun and I hope to increase the alumni participation in the future,” said Head Coach Dave Fleming

Mesa State volleyball team dropped their semifinal match to Metro State (23-7) Friday afternoon at the RMAC volleyball tournament in Kearney, NE. The Mavericks rallied from a 0-2 set deficit to tie the match at 2-2 before falling 15-6 in the fifth set (20-25, 18-25, 25-21, 25-17, 6-15). Metro State will advance to the championship game Saturday against host University of Neb.-Kearney.
